The Chinese company Ehang showed the first flight of its drone-taxi with passengers on board. The drone, according to its creators, will be able to carry one passenger at a speed of up to 130 km/h and spend more than 20 minutes in the air. The Abu Dhabi authorities announced in early 2017 that they are ready to consider creating a network of unmanned taxis in the emirate. A number of other companies, including Uber, are developing their own self-driving taxis. The Uber drone taxi is expected to be launched in test mode in Dubai in 2020.
